It doesn't get any better than this! Thanks to the amazing generous talent of our community especially Rusty McCarthy who pulled them all together. This annual event gathered almost $700 in cash donations and a ton of food for our community's Soup Kitchen. All thanks to Rusty McCarthy and his lineup of local musicians who generously gave of their time to entertain the full house for this worthwhile cause.

HARPDOG BROWN - Friday January 13, 2017
Harpdog Brown and his guitarist Jordie Edmonds started their Sault Ste. Marie stint the night before their show by conducting a Masters workshop open to the public at Thomas Walls School of Music with the emphasis being on the interplay between harmonica and guitar. About a dozen musicians attended the workshop. Later that night Harpdog and Jordie jammed with MOJO, performing a couple of tunes, at Reggies West as a special treat and preview to their Sault Blues Society sponsored show at The Rock Star Bar the following night. And what a show it was, on Friday the 13th! With Mark Gough on drums, Jordie on guitar and Harpdog taking care of the harp and vocals the entertainers were in fine form, heating up our mid January night, keeping the blues strong in the Soo, all in front of a full house of our city and surrounding area's wonderful blues fans.
